I have been on two very productive photography trips this year with Tim Pile to Portugal and to Brittany, and I should be able to share some more results from those awesome creative adventures some time in future, but for now I will add some lovely images that need to be seen, the second of which to me looks like it was taken abroad, but was actually in rainy old England! In fact it only came to creation because of the rain!
We were working at a location open to the public, and so were concentrating on shooting some fashion style images and portraits, including this pretty and peaceful shot ‘Camelias’…
But then the heavens suddenly opened to a pummeling downpour, we had to dash for cover, and found shelter in this covered balcony in front of the historic house. We took some clothed images whilst we waited for the rain to cease, but then realised that although the scene was wide open to the outside, everyone who had been bumbling around before looking at the flowerbeds had scattered for cover elsewhere because of such heavy rain – and therefore we sprang to quickly capture some classic nudes in the wonderful light, which resulted in this stunning beauty… proof that the unpredictable British weather can sometimes work very well for you indeed 🙂
