Why have I been sitting on these images so long? I feel like I’ve been squatting on them like eggs, waiting for the right time to hatch the precious, intricate, otherwordly wonders together into the bright and constant interweb.
Taken on one of my models days at Hallam Mill on my last trip Northwest, I just adore them so much. The creation of photographer Doodyone… with incredible styling by Falciera Designs, inspired by the ‘Black Dress Dance’ from the film Legend, and awesome vampish make-up & hair by Kiera-Louise, I felt like I mix of Florence & the Machine crossed with the evil devil lady from Shakespeare’s Sister ‘Stay’ video. And to think we only had a 2 hour timeslot, including all the setting up, make-up, hair and styling!! But Peter assured he was only after a few stunning shots, quality over quantity, and it just shows that when you put your mind to specific idea, and work together as a team – amazing imagery can be created even in a short space of time, as well as being super exciting!
I’m in love with the last couple with the black antique lace, which have a very holy, ‘madonna’ feel to them. Which are your favourites you think I should put in my portfolio? Any thoughts are gratefully receieved as always.
Thank you so much Peter for another wonderful shoot and these truly gorgeous shots! Finally born into my Ivory Underworld 🙂
