These images were taken last summer along Oxford riverbank by the lovely Keith Cooper who had been wanting to photograph Ella Rose and I together in a Lady of Shalott theme for a long time.
The weather was great for it, making those gorgeous sunlit ripples in the water, and we had such a nice time floating around in our boat (although we did drift too far on occassions, and rowing back up the river at the end was somewhat of an olympic battle!) I really love the peaceful feel to them, all the tones and textures, thank you Keith for capturing such a beautiful set! š
We also managed to see the Pre-Raphaelite exhibition on in London at the Tate Britain before it finished in January. Such a stunning show of so many incredible works of art, all with fascinating descriptions of the desperateĀ tragedies, drama and emotion involved with the characters, myths and themes in the paintings (and often with the models and artists themselves) It was very interesting to read about, and view their brilliantly beautiful colours close up. It’s no surprise why so many people find this era so wonderful. These were some that I loved looking at in the flesh!
