Tonight I will share some drippingly beautiful sunset images taken at Brancaster Beach recently by the wonderful Pierus. We had driven to the coast in search of moody skies and baron expanse and would have been content with a fairly regular weather day, but it turned out to be gorgeous sunshine, to which we shot fantastic glowing photos and video we’ll no doubt share in future, and then, since Mother Nature clearly felt like majorly showing off, we got this bejeweled eyegasm of a sunset ♥
Except for us, the empty beach was now quietly still, and I was being photographed from quite a distance, leaving me on the flooding sandflats in a space of serenity and transformation between land and sea. It was so wonderful walking through the water with the whole ocean ahead of me, ruby-crackled clouds burning my eyes with their phosphorescent beauty, the intent waves rolling home for the night, a mild breeze on my skin, and the darkness drawing in turning day into dusk. What a sight…
