I'm a full time model with over 3 years experience. Passionate about stunning visuals, I adore creativity and expression. To me this job is more than physical - there are plenty of models around with beautiful bodies and nice faces, but I want to bring life and spirit to the pictures as well as them to be aesthetically pleasing. I love entwining emotion and energy to work I'm involved in, and enjoy collaborating with the photographer, knowing the look & feel they are aiming for so I can help animate the ideas.

Being extremely dedicated and reliable, I will communicate well before the shoot, make sure I bring anything you require and will turn up on time. I'm very patient and down to earth, priding myself on being inspiring & easy to work with. I can pose myself well, allowing you to focus on your photography, lighting and compositions, and I'm happy to take direction if you have a very specific vision in mind.

It's important for me to give everyone I work for complete value for money. In the workplace I am committed to the job at hand, always confident, focussed and prepared. I use professional make-up designed for use on film & tv, regularly update my wardrobe with fresh outfits & accessories, keep my hair, skin & nails in top condition and always make sure I am fresh & slept up for all shoots.

~ RATES & TRAVEL ~

My rates are £45 an hour, £160 for 4 hours and £250 for a full day. I may also also some travel expense to be covered.

Travelling is a normal part of my job, so nowhere is too far, plus I often organise mini trips to places further away, so do enquire if you're interested in booking me. I have a passport, and with flights so cheap in advance; travelling to Scotland, Ireland & Europe is no problem at all.

~ MODELLING LEVELS ~

I work in portrait, fashion, classy lingerie, tasteful fine art nude and fashion nude styles. No glamour or explicit work.

~ ART NUDE ~

I love classic, timeless nudes, with my look suiting gentle, feminine, pre-raphaelite looks. I'm also interested in modern, unique styles using props or accessories. I am no gymnast but I love to push & challenge by body, I like strange and experimental poses, where there is skin, flesh, bone, emotion, innocence, sexuality, reality and human life. With outdoor location shoots, if its cold I am happy to work as long as I have breaks to warm up.

~ WARDROBE & STYLING ~

I have a great wardrobe if you'd like me to bring a selection of my own outfits to the shoot, including beautiful dresses, floaty skirts, sheer chiffon tops, elegant ballgowns, edgy fashion clothes, full bridal wear, high quality lingerie, beautiful fabrics, jewellery, hats, coloured scarves, decorative flowers, venetian masks & many other accessories. I'm also trained in basic make-up so can enhance my look well with natural looking or a more stylish/sexy/kooky make-up. If possible I'd recommend you hire a professional make-up artist and/or hair stylist as well, especially if you want your shots to be extra eyecatching and edgy, as the results of working with these talented artists really give a shoot an extra dimension.

~ REFERENCES ~

I always check references for every new photographer I work with, and if I can't check them online I will ask you for some details of people you have worked with that I can contact directly. This is necessary from a professional viewpoint. I will also need a full address of where we'll be working & contact number in advance, as I always let someone know of my whereabouts. I have a whole section here on my website devoted to references or you can get in contact with people I have worked with directly.

~ TERMS & CONDITIONS ~

These are my personal notes that may or may not apply to other models. They are not binding, but just as I treat people with professionalism, I expect the same back, and trust that you will have good morals and respect this is my full time living, and as significant as any other business.

  • Payment can be made by cash, cheque or via Paypal. Payment on the day of the shoot (or sent prior to) is fine, but not after. I can supply an invoice and I'm happy to sign a regular model release at no extra fee.
  • I have the right to object to any theme or style of shot if you haven't previously informed me of the full nature of the shoot (some examples I may object to: poses that are in my opinion too explicit or tacky, smoking shots, wearing real fur and posing with guns/weapons). The best thing is to always explain what styles you want to shoot beforehand, giving as much detail as possible or emailing me examples of similar images.
  • I'm more than happy to bring outfits and accessories to the shoot, but it is your responsability to inform me of what sort of thing you want preferrably a week or more in advance (emailing the night before may be too late as I may not have the item or may not be staying at my house). If you want me to buy clothes or items specifically for our shoot, unless I was planning on buying it anyway, I will ask to be reimbursed.
  • Unless otherwise agreed, if you book me for a specified length of time, I must be paid for that amount, despite if you are late or decide to finish earlier.
  • I allow up to an hour for setting up/travelling to the studio or location, on top of the shooting time. For example; if you are paying for 4 hours, then from picking me up at the station to drop off must be within 5 hours.
  • If the location is a substantial distance from where you meet me, please email prior to the shoot to discuss else the above rule will apply.
  • If you have to postpone a shoot once, that's fine, if you do it a second time, I ask that you pay me in advance for the next new date. If you cancel a third time, I will keep that payment. There is no third chance.
  • If you book me on one of my working trips, any shoots cancelled within 5 days I will still ask to be paid in full.
  • When arranging location shoots, if it turns out to be bad weather; I am happy to rearrange, but on the second attempt you I advise that you have a Plan B as I will need to be paid in full whatever happens.

If you have any queries about any of these points please don't hesitate to email me.

~ A bit more about me ~

portrait_dave_r_250.jpgI've always loved being creative, from a young age I did lots of drawing and writing, my favourite lesson being Art. I've grown up very interested in photography, literature, film, fashion, psychology, and have a fascination for emotions, the human body, nature, dreams, and many other things that get me questioning the world. I graduated from Oxford Brookes University with a BA Hons degree in Fine Art in 2007 and still love being artistic in my spare time.

I was fairly shy and quiet in school, so modelling is not something I'd previously seen myself doing, but I've always been quite photogenic, and I got into it by accident, being asked to fill in for a magazine photoshoot in Oxford at the last minute, and then built it from there.

I adore that I can earn a living by doing something I enjoy, and although it is a huge amount of hard work and time to make it work, the plus points are very worth it. I appreciate the interesting things I've learnt, and useful life skills I've acquired; being able to get on a train, meet someone new, deliver a job well with poise & iniative, manage my time & finances, improve communication skills & independance. I love meeting new people from all sorts of backgrounds, seeing new parts of the world and broadening my horizons. I've also grown a lot in confidence, and discovered an awareness of my body and my surroundings I might not otherwise have found.

Thank you very much to everyone who has supported me along the way; my parents, boyfriend & friends, and also the photographers & artists who have worked with me, and created beautiful images that I'm so happy to be part of :)
